Kate Leaver is a journalist, author, speaker and branded content specialist.

She currently writes for The Guardian, The Independent, The Telegraph, Glamour, British Vogue and Refinery29. She has a weekly column about friendship on Metro. She is a regular contributor to Future Women.

Kate currently lives in London with her boyfriend and their puppy, Bertie. 

Kate is from Sydney, Australia, where she worked as a radio producer for Ross Greenwood, features editor at Cosmopolitan magazine and senior editor at Mamamia. She has written for The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, News.com.au, The Australian Women's Weekly, Stella, Elle Australia and The Saturday Paper.

When she first moved to the UK, Kate was the relaunch editor for J.K. Rowling’s Pottermore.

Kate regularly appears on TV and radio. She’s been on BBC Woman's Hour, BBC 5 Live, BBC London, Channel 4 News, Talk Radio, ABC TV, ABC Radio National, ABC 702, Triple J, The Today Show, The Daily Edition, News Breakfast, The Project and Studio Ten. She has done branded content work for Bumble, Dove, Fairmont Hotels, Nissan and Lindemans.

Her first book, The Friendship Cure, came out in 2018 in Australia, New Zealand, North America and the UK. She is represented by Northbank Talent Management.
