Kate Leaver is a journalist, author, speaker and branded content specialist.

She currently writes for The Guardian, The Independent, Broadly, Vice, Glamour, Red, The Pool, Vogue, Elle, The Evening Standard, Stella, Stylist and Refinery29. She lives in London with her boyfriend and their puppy, Bertie. 

Kate is from Sydney, Australia, where she worked as a radio producer for Ross Greenwood (the kindest man in Australian media), features editor at Cosmopolitan magazine and senior editor at Mamamia. She has written for Australian media like News.com.au, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, Women's Weekly, Stella and The Saturday Paper. She has appeared on the BBC, BBC Woman's Hour, Channel 4 News, Talk Radio, ABC TV and radio, Triple J, The Today Show, The Daily Edition, News Breakfast, The Project and Studio Ten. She has worked in branded content and native editorial for Bumble, Pottermore, Nissan and Lindemans.

Her first book, The Friendship Cure, came out in 2018 in Australia, New Zealand, North America and the UK. She is represented by Northbank Talent Management.
