How lonely dads are making new friends

When we talk about the challenges of parenthood, there are a few recurrent themes: sleep deprivation, nappy-changing, tantrums, moral dilemmas. What we don’t talk about quite so candidly is the social isolation parents go through when they raise children.

Loneliness is a very real problem for mothers and fathers, and it’s only recently that we’ve started to acknowledge it. There several apps for mothers, like Mush and Peanut, which match-make mothers looking for new friendships. For a while now, the absence of an equivalent for fathers, particularly those who take on primary care of their kids, has been conspicuous. 

Until now. Earlier this month, Chinua Cole launched the DadApp.
